The daylight effect of the clocks going forward has had an effect and i counted 21 riders out tonight, in near perfect conditions.
The steadier paced riders, as usual set off a few minutes ahead, a group of about 10
The quicker riders followed 4 or 5 minutes later, and the first lap remained controlled and social, although a few "hot spots" still notched up the pace in a couple of areas.
We slowly reeled in all the steadier riders over the course of this lap, many of whom ha...

My ride was very frustrating this week...
After swapping wheels and cassettes after the previous weekends 25TT, i put everything back to normal, but must have trapped some grit in the cassette as i tightened the lockring, this meant that my ride over to Bolsover was perpetuated with skipping & dancing gears...not good considering i wanted to push hard for some decent Strava segment times.

Another great turnout this week with 17 riders of all abilities meeting at Sherwood Lodge in the nicest sunshine ive seen on a thurdsay night for months. Simon Travell had laid down a challenge by posting a new fastest solo time earlier in the day of 28:03
The first lap was held together pretty well, with a large bunch keeping together despite a few sprints and attacks for hills, and just a few steadier riders forming a smaller bunch a few hundred metres behind. this lap finished the co...
