Bolsover & District Cycling Club

This ride was organized by Neil who runs Pelican cycles up Brampton road ( an old school mate of Steves).

I wont bore you with the route because you can see the Strava section.

I must say that Neil and his Dad are really friendly and we had a nice coffee and chit chat before the ride began at 6:25.

Neils aim is to get a regular Wednesday evening ride going and will mostly venture in to the Peak. (nice mid week hilly session !!!)

He also has ideas for somekind of Chesterfield based 'Sportive' type event so the guy really is keen to promote cycling around the Chesterfield area and i'm sure our club will give him plenty of support !!

I'd never been in the shop before and it really impressed with with how smart and modern it is. Everything from £3k road bikes, mtbs,crossbikes,tools,clothing and nutrition is catered for.

Myself,Paul,Ady and James from the club rode, plus a guy from Matlock and of course Neil himself.

If you're free on future Wednesday evenings and can make it up to Pelican Cycles between 6-6:15pm i'd really recommend joining the ride and supporting a great L.B.S !!.

I'll certainly be going again !!!
