Every 12 weeks on Sunday

posted by B&DCC

B&DCC have two rides available on a Sunday morning; this longer “A Ride” typically takes place over a distance of between 50 and 60 miles, and will usually have you home around 1pm.

The first half of the ride keeps everything under control, with a Cafe stop at approximately half distance. After a quick cup of tea and slice of cake at the Cafe, the return leg of the ride is usually slightly quicker, although we don’t like to leave anyone behind.

We welcome new riders onto this ride, but of course you will need a reasonable level of fitness to cover 50-60 miles. If you aren’t sure if this is for you, we suggest you try the Thursday night Spiralling ride, or the shorter Sunday ride and we can help coach and develop you to the standard needed for this ride.

The ride meets at 9am at the war memorial on Market Place , Bolsover Town Centre...near Bella Blue restaurant, postcode S44 6PN , theres a link below to a map of where this is

The route varies every week around 12 different routes that alternate between a hilly ride, then a slightly longer flatter ride...this week’s flatter ride heads out South East through Budby and Ollerton through to South Muskham, then returns via Ossington, Boughton & Bothamsall

You can see the route we normally take by clicking here...

If you do intend to join the ride, please post a message here so that we can gauge numbers
