I was wondering whether any of you knew of any cobblestoned roads/tracks in our neck of the woods. Other than Chesterfield market and a very tiny stretch near Hardwick Hall (that leads to a dead end) I haven't found any yet. I'm trying to put together a bit of a Tour of Flanders style route but I've found lots of short(ish) steep climbs and now just need some cobbles.

Where are the climbs you have in mind? There are some very lengthy and solidly surfaced bridlewyas in the are - not cobles but they'll maske you juddder. Was good to see you at NDCXL today. I now have a pile of mud on the yard that belongs to Bulwell park.... ....mind you, they do have the odd gallon of my sweat! Excellen t:D
