With Vern & andy covering the southern route from Hardwicke , and the West route being designed by Mark Bridgman Smith to head from the arkwright arms , we need to work on the south west route... In my opinion , this HAS to start at the Blue Bell it could then drop through Carr Vale to pick up the Stockley Trail then climb up through Sutton Scarsdale and pick up the Five Pits Trail in Temple Normanton A loop around Williamthorpe ponds at Holmewood and back on the Five pits to Pilsley A short bit of road to Hardstoft then pick up the bridleway climb to Ault Hucknall A bit of time playing around in Doe Lea/Glapwell - and exploring the potential trails there then picking up the Stockley again back to Boser pig of a climb back up to the pub , but that is unavoidable
i can see all this on a map , but dont know a great deal of it....so im open to suggestions to changes , especially seeing as it might be next time around the compass before im riding it..and even that is optomistic
