Bolsover & District Cycling Club

I'm not sure if anyone has ridden any of these suggested routes yet, but here is another one, this time 33 miles to Graves Park in Sheffield and back as per the rides list. There's a cafe in the park (Rose Garden Cafe), not far from the etrance off Hemsworth Road and just beyond the car park.

These routes can be uploaded to a GPS unit - I can't comment on how well it works as I am still working on old tecnology (paper maps and memory).

we did last weeks route to newstead abbey , nice cafe apart from the skwaking birds

we did get a little bit lost on the outskirts of mansfield and it highlights the benefits of the ride leader having a GPS unit to hand

we tweaked the return leg a little to take in the climb through Hardwick and it was a decent ride
