I've just received notification that the club's CTC affiliation is now due. As part of this, club members can join for a reduced rate:

Individual Affiliated Mebership of CTC

In addition to the benefits to your Club of affiliation to CTC, Individual Affiliated Mebership of CTC continues to be available at the unchanged price of £12. This provides:

• Full CTC Third Party Insurance
• A CTC membershgip card giving access to a wide range of dicounts and benefits, including at least 12% discount at the CTC Wiggle Shop (see website for details http://www.ctc.org.uk )
• The weekly CTC e-newsletter "Cycleclips"

This is a good option if you don't race, as the comparable British Cycling 'Ride' Membership is £24.00. Also, British Cycling's Bronze 'Race' Membership (£13.50) doesn't include Public Liability Insurance for either competetive or non-competetive cycling, while BC's Silver 'Race' membership (£36.00) only includes Public Liability Insurance for competetive cycling, so this is a useful low cost add on for commuting and leisure riding.
