Hi all
we are crying out to get our hands on a few more Isla bikes for the club, but are short of funds for this purpose... hence this message , im looking for members to donate the "scrap bin" of old parts they have tucked in the shed so that we can build up some old bikes sufficiently well to sell them on EBay to raise funds...we will also take any old bikes people can throw at us
Can everyone keep their eyes open for something they can get for next to nothing that we can give a little TLC and sell on to raise funds

Steve We used to have loads of bikes spare at work through untraceable stolen / recovered cycles. However, through abuse of the system we can no longer "purchase" direct. The bikes are sold through the BUMBLEBEE Police Property Online Auction and sometimes go for silly prices. It may be that a few with enough expertise could buy incomplete bikes through the website and cobble them together - I would volunteer in order to learn a few things about Bike maintainence and if we could secure enough "mentors" maybe others would be keen to take part in such a project ?

dont see too much on bumblebee from Notts police, perhaps they are listed in batches or perhaps are particularly good at avoiding stolen bikes (or poor at recovering them). Do they only tend to list them occasionally?
