Bolsover & District Cycling Club

We are in the process os putting together some printed advertising for the club, posters for bike shops, community notice boards etc.

and i got to thinking about a "tag" line for the club.. something that encapsulates what we are about in a (very) succinct way.

for instance Lances oft repeated phrase was "if your not riding.. your hiding"

Steve came up with (and apologies if i have abridged this incorrectly) - "Whatever your wheels"

I didn't give it too much thought but came up with "are you out or what!?"

 (no gay / closet jokes pls').

any printable ideas from the BaD CC peleton?

It's pure cheese but you gotta love......." Live to Ride,Ride to Live "

As once said to me:

"Shut the f... up and pedal"

Or maybe "Just Pedal"

Why do we need a "tag line" think its a bit cheesy and thought that" cycling club" would sum it up already ?

fair point Simon,

but there are lots of other "cycling clubs" as some of our members have had experience to their detriment. It was a bit of blue sky thinking to perhps set us apart from the rest, as we are better and more inclusive than others aren't we?.

Avoiding cheese is very important but a nice tag line would set the tone of the club website, i have had a quick look at club T shirts (at a great price!!) and it would definitely be something to put on there.

But!, it is down to a majority opinion, the response has been quite vibrant, if nothing else it's been a source of good banter.
