Right folks,

I want to put together a team to enter Mountain Mayhem and sleepless in the saddle. These are 24 hour endurance mountain bike races. I entered Mountain mayhem as part of The Steed team this year and would like to put together another team for next year. The cost for a team of 4 was £200 last year but that includes camping and loads of other stuff. These are family orientated events so wives and children can come along and support the team. There is loads of stuuf going on to occupy the kids and if we enter as a team of four and do it as a relay you only have to do 6 hours riding out of the 24 hour event.

When the entries open we will have to act fast to get a place so a firm commitment now would be great

This is on the "agenda" for discussion at Mondays meeting, talking about the key events for 2012 and finding out who is interested

I'm also interested but it depends on actual dates of the event(s) and a pass from the gaffa.

I'll be up for MM (no clashes with work!!!) but might not be for sleepless. Keen to form a slowbies team if anyone is up for it too? 

start planning everyone, 2012 dates for Mountain Mayhem are 22nd, 23rd, 24th June !!!!
