everyone has one, and as time pressed dads (i'm assuming!), what and where does your perfect "just nipping out for a bit" route go?

I think my rides would be defined more by the perfect company, i dont really enjoy riding on my own and i never push as hard if there is noone to push me. Perhaps thats the reason im so heavily involved with this club.
Saying that , if i was to head out for that duration of time id most likely nip out through Bondhay, past the new windmills, through Kiveton Park, Todwick, Loop around Dinnington and back..but last time i rode it the roads had started to become a dot to dot puzzle of potholes..Sheffield Council seem to be a bit inundated with road repairs at the moment

Well, I see no rule that says you have to ride from home and I don't have a wife or kids to hide from (sorry, get back to). So I'd start at the Rivelin end of the Strines and ride up and back - that road has everything a roadie could want and the Langsett cafe at the far end ....
