Jus read a great article in the March issue of Mountain biking Uk. There are 5 destinations in Yorkshire/Lancashire between 1 1/2 and 2 hours drive that I would like to schedule into our regular saturday bike rides over the year. Some of the areas you will be familiar with such as Lee Quarry, Stainburn and Gisburn forest which are smaller trail centres that look great for day hits. The other 2 are natural riding areas around Todmorden and north of Skipton. Alongside trips to Llandegla, Long Mynd, Dalby and Cannock. Hopefully people will be keen to hit these areas and I will schedule them in throughout the year

Sounds great, I keep looking at all the trail centres and other recommended rides in MBUK but the close ones are 1.5 to 2 hours drive away. It's a bit far to head out on your own! I'll certainly be up for a some of these rides, so long as I know a little in advance to get myself organised. Should also be able to get back out on a few more rides within the coming weeks so that'll put a smile back on my face
