Bolsover & District Cycling Club

Routes

This Route section is currently under construction. B&DCC hope to have a collection of mapped routes that you can print out or download to GPS to provide you with the inspiration to get out & ride alone or with others

  • Spiraling - Road Routes

spiraling is our multi lap development ride structure , that allows you to join a club ride for one lap (approx 10 miles) or multi laps as your fitness develops. The routes will always pass back past your origional starting point , so you are never far from home (or the car)

  • Road Routes - Short

These sub 25 mile routes are intended as a quick blast , speed training ride or as a recovery ride. For those less accostomed to large distances they also make an ideal stepping stone to build your fitness

  • Road Routes - Medium

These Road rides are between 25 and 50 miles and make an ideal evening group ride

  • Road Routes - Long

These Road rides are between 50 and 100 miles and are your traditional Sunday Club Run Fare

  • MTB Routes

Our MTB Routes start at various pubs around the district and are intended to keep you smiling for anywhere between 90 minutes & 2 hours In the short term we will not be publishing mountain bike routes just in case any sections that we are riding have a disputed legality. We are working on a project to research & publish 100% legal routes. In the short term , feel free to join us on an organised ride where we will encourage responsible & respectful riding

  • Family Rides

Family Rides take in traffic free trails & tracks ,often linked together by quieter lightly trafficked roads. Usually designed for about an hour or twos riding depending on your pace

  • Mega Routes / Audax Routes

Our Mega routes are plus 100 mile efforts that we promote as Audax events or as food for those who love to get the miles in
